My Hobby is Racing and Collecting Late 60's Muscle Cars

My name is Matt Goodwin aka Dr. Mopar. My wife,three children and I live in the small berg of Pueblo, Colorado. A beautiful town of about 100,000 population. We are one hour south of Colorado Springs on Interstate 25 along the Arkansas River.
We moved here in 1992 so I could work at the State Hospital as a Child and Forensic Psychiatrist. We love it here and don't want too many people finding out about it. We have a beautiful resevoir, nature and bicycle trails, and the best Mexican Food North of El Paso.
In late August the Colorado State Fair comes to the State Fair Grounds here in Pueblo. That is a great time to get into some excellent concerts. Last year we saw Lynrd Skynrd, Texas Tornadoes, Foreigner, and Steve Miller.

UPDATE AUGUST 13,1999:
I haven't been to the drag strip much this Summer. For several weeks my Plymouth has been up on jacks while I installed a new Hurst cable shifter. This has made a tremendous difference in the reliability of my shifting. I hope to get it back on the track next week. We will definitely compete in the annual Buick Club's Muscle Car Shootout on Sept 12.
The big news has been the near completion and maiden voyage of our 1968 Corvette Stingray which has been in restoration for four years. Last week (August 6) it left our shop and my wife drove it to an upholsterer to have the new soft top installed.
The 427 runs like silk and the blue paint looked gorgeous in the sunlight. We should be able to start advertising to sell it in the next month.
The State Fair is almost upon us. This is a really big deal down here in Pueblo, Colorado. The best part is the concert series. This year we plan on seeing The Moody Blues, and Weird Al Yankovich. We will be driving up to Denver at the end of the month to see Santana at the Red Rocks Ampitheater. Really though, the best parts of the Fair are the sights, sounds, and smells on a warm August evening of the animals, exhibits, shows and great food.
Lynrd Skynrd and ZZ Top are coming to Colorado Springs in November. We will be there!
